From Silicon Valley code to Nepali soil
I'm the CEO of President Agro Tech. After a decade building software and business operations in the US, I came home to Nepal in 2021 to build organic fertilizer, poultry and chiuri oil ventures that put Nepali farmers first.
The short version
Why a software engineer ended up running fertilizer plants
I studied Management Science at MIT, graduating in 2014, then spent several years in Silicon Valley and Boston working as a software engineer and business operations analyst — roles that took me through Dealix/Autobytel and New Frontier Advisors.
In 2021 I moved back to Nepal to build President Agro Tech from the ground up. Today that means running a patented organic fertilizer line under license from Taiwan's President Bio Tech Group, a 7-hectare research farm in Barahkshetra, two poultry operations, and a board seat at a chiuri oil company positioning Nepali butter as a natural alternative to shea. I also sit on the executive committee of SEBS, the Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students.

Our Gothko fertilizer runs on patented Taiwanese technology licensed from President Bio Tech Group, tested and refined on our own 7-hectare research farm in Barahkshetra, Sunsari.

Egg production across two provinces
I manage layer operations at Sunsari Poultry in Itahari and Paschimanchal Poultry in Nepalgunj, feeding both directly back into how we think about closing the loop with organic fertilizer inputs.
Himalayan Chiuri Oil
A natural alternative to shea butter
As an investor and board director at Himalayan Chiuri Oil, I help scale a generations-old Nepali tradition into a premium cosmetic product. Chiurika butter, pressed from the chiuri tree, is positioned for skincare, haircare and personal care buyers looking for a natural alternative to shea.
